• Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details

• Session tokens: Used to maintain your login session

3. AI Processing

When you use AI features (photo scanning, voice logging), your data is sent to third-party AI services for processing. Photos and audio are processed in real time and are not permanently stored by these services. AI-generated nutritional estimates are approximate and should not replace professional dietary advice.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these circumstances:

• With other users: Your display name, profile photo, and meal posts are visible to friends and group members based on your sharing settings
• Service providers: We use third-party services (cloud hosting, AI processing, payment processing) that process data on our behalf
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights

Your email address is never displayed to other users.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Asia-Pacific region. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for data processing
