Welcome to Chilema. By accessing or using our mobile application and website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
By creating an account or using Chilema, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You may sign in using Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You agree to provide accurate information during registration.
Chilema provides AI-powered nutrition tracking, social features, and health logging tools. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
Chilema uses artificial intelligence to estimate calorie counts, nutritional information, and food identification. These estimates are for informational purposes only and should not be treated as medical or dietary advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated results.
Chilema offers a free plan and a premium subscription. Premium subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the selected interval (monthly or yearly). You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law.
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, meal entries, comments). By uploading content, you grant Chilema a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and process that content solely for providing the Service. You may delete your content at any time.
Chilema includes social features such as groups, friend connections, comments, and reactions. You are responsible for content you share. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is reported by other users.
The Service, including its design, code, logos, and AI models, is owned by Chilema. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without prior written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Chilema is not a medical application. Always consult a healthcare professional for dietary, medical, or nutritional advice. We are not liable for decisions made based on information provided by the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chilema shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
